What begins as a gesture becomes a record.
Layers accumulate through repetition, pressure, correction, and restraint. Each surface preserves the physical history of its making—the movement of the hand, the passage of time, and the decisions embedded within the work.
Each original Absgraff® is authenticated by BASHA’s signature wax seal, a physical mark of authorship and authenticity.
The seal connects the object to its creator and to the Absgraff® archive.
